The privacy of your non-public personal information is of the utmost importance to PCAT. Any information gathered by us will be kept strictly confidential and will only be used in ways for which you have specifically consented. Our handling and protection of non-public personal information is governed by federal and state privacy laws and regulations.
It is our goal to demonstrate the PCAT commitment to your privacy. Listed below are our answers to some common questions about privacy and security.
What do you track and record?
You are not required to provide non-public personal information or reveal your identity to browse our public website. When visitors access our public pages, our web servers log the IP address (the numeric internet address of a computer). We do not link IP addresses to any personal information. IP address tracking allows us to track a visitor's session, but the visitor remains anonymous. This provides information about parts of the site visited and the length of time spent there. We also record the information that your browser provides such as browser type and version (for example; Internet Explorer 9.0, Mozilla Firefox 5.0, etc.). We use this information to administer our system and improve the information and services offered on our public website.
What about email addresses?
We receive your online information only when you choose to disclose it, for example, by requesting information from us by using the "Contact Us" link and providing us with an email address. We do not use email addresses provided in this manner for email mass marketing.
Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
